BTS: Perfect Spot Model Search

I was invited last April 28 to do the models make-up for their upcoming model search by Perfect Spot Productions. The venue for the shoot was unusual for me where it was held at a public school at QC. There were no air-conditioner for the make-up room.:( Good thing it was windy that day!

I was so pleased to get the longest table ever! We rode the bus going to QC so I didn't bother bringing my make-up chair and mirror. Thank you for the sun and stacks of monoblock chairs for saving my life!

First model assigned to me was Aimee.  Her hair and skin, I lovee!! She actually looks like Wilma Doesnt!

The over-all look was to go really black smoky eyes and pale lips for the first look.  I love love models like her. She's like a morena Barbie.:)

For the second look, I just changed the lips with a reddish berry color.

Next was Charlotte. I changed up the lid color for a blacker and less shimmery shadow.

I seldom have photos like this. Lol

Isn't her eyes look super sexy?

I super love the color violet! And I was too happy to use my lovely violet falsies.

This was my most favorite look for the shoot. Mae, the in-charge for the shoot told me to do something colorful for Sara who did not had the chance to attend their first photoshoot.

My last model for the shoot was Anna. To give her eyes something, I added gold glitters! I was super happy that day to finally use my glitters which were sitting in my stash for te longest time!

Don't you just love her snake skin cover up?

Anna's second look!

Introducing the guys who saved my life! Thanks for carrying my stuff and cleaning my brushes!<3

Thank you to the whole team of Perfect Spot Productions! I enjoyed doing the models make-up!

Don't forget to vote your favorite models by liking their photos.

Graduation Ball

Last March 14 and 15, I did Eileen and Xyra's make-up for their graduation ball.

Set-up for Eileen's make-up.

Here's my pretty cousin all made up. I posted her photo on facebook and my Tita's were like, "Aww dalaga na si Eileen!"

To keep with the theme of being fresh and young, I gave her a simple make-up and pinkish lips and cheeks. As they say, less is more!

The following day, I did Xyra's make-up. Also for her graduation ball.

Here's pretty Xyra all made up. The first time I saw her, I thought she was graduating from high school. To my surprise, she was only graduating from elementary! Gosh, girl, pahingi naman ng height! LOL!

Like I did to Eileen, I gave her simple yet fresh make-up.

So, if you guys also want to look extra gorgeous like them on your graduation day, book me as your hair and make-up artist!:) Make your reservations now!

Gawad Tanglaw

Last March 7, Gawad Tanglaw 2013 was held at my school, Colegio de San Juan de Letran-Calamba.  Who wouldn't be thrilled when stars like Gerald Anderson, Coco Martin, Richard Yap, Jodi Sta. Maria, and more are coming to your school? I was super excited to see them face to face, but boo Coco Martin didn't come!

My lovely hair assistant's reflection.

Please excuse me for my super messy set-up.

My first client of the day, Ate Zands. She was in-charged for the event so she must look extra gorgeous for the night!

I gave her 'The Kardashian" smoky eyes.

Perfect hair up do by my lovely assistant, Chale.

My next client was my beautiful mama.

As you may remember, I did a similar make-up look for her on my previous blog about my mama. This look suits her the best!

Third client was Mr. Intramurals 2013, Shara.

I played a bit with her eye color and gave her purplish shadow to make her brown eyes pop!

Braided bun up do by Chale.

Last client of the day was my ninang/thesis adviser. (Say hello to my lovely background, Abby, She and Joy kita kayo sa photoooo!)

I gave her natural glowing make-up. Ready for picture taking with the stars!

I started doing their make-up around 11:30 am and  I finished everything including cleaning up around 6 pm. I was standing literally the whole day. But I love my job and I won't mind standing up the entire day. I won't be able to make it on time without my hair assistant, Chale. Thanks so much girl. Till our next gig together!

Congratulations Letran! Gawad Tanglaw 2013 was a success!

High School Dance

High School Dance. This was the event that all high school students at Alpha Angelicum Academy looks forward to ever year. I loved every bit of it! High school dance is just like other school's Junior Seniors' Promenade, but in Alpha every high school student was invited to join. You'll have the privilege to enjoy four incredible years of high school dance. No need to wait for your junior and senior year!

I love how the students have the freedom to choose and vote which theme it was for the year. There were also times when students choreographed the dance that they were going to present. I can still remember four years ago when I first attended my high school dance. I seriously miss it! I miss searching for the perfect gown. I miss getting dressed for the dance and having my nails, hair and make-up done. But nothing beats having the perfect company of your friends and classmates, which I miss the most.

This year, I had the privilege to do my cousin's hair and make-up for the high school dance at Acacia Hotel. This year's theme was vintage!

Make-up station.

 Products used.

Eyes are completely done. I used a shimmery gold color on her lids. Defined the crease area and further defined the outer-v with a darker brown shadow.

 Hair and make-up all done!

I seriously adored my cousin's hair piece. It really completed her look!
